To enhance its inventory of portable LED options, AV Chicago is excited to announce that it has expanded its partnership with Theatrixx Technologies, a Canadian manufacturer and distributor of innovative technologies designed for the performing arts, events, and entertainment, through the purchase of eight <\/span>XVA-1.8S-IN<\/span> Totem <\/span>series<\/span> displays.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After being introduced to the product by Theatrixx at InfoComm 2023, Theatrixx enhanced it further, resulting in a higher resolution 1.88m<\/span>m<\/span> model, the one purchased by AV Chicago. These totem displays complement other industry-leading solutions from Theatrixx\u2019s LED and video conversion product lines, which AV Chicago currently owns and operates, including the <\/span>Theatrixx NOMAD 2.6 LED<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This innovative solution transforms event signage from a basic printed sign on an easel to a portable, engaging LED display that showcases various messages and images. The technology also enables rotating content that can be scheduled, allowing the display of multiple messages, such as alerts, promotional updates, and information aligned with that specific event. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Theatrixx Totem’s versatility and durability distinguish it from other LED products on the market, and it can be deployed quickly and efficiently. With a 1.8m<\/span>m<\/span> display, the images are sharp and detailed, even when viewed up close, conveying messages clearly <\/span>and attractively. The direct-view LED display ensures proper readability, even in harsh or bright lighting conditions.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The totems can function as free-standing structures, mounted directly on a wall, or be suspended from a ceiling in various orientations. Their versatility allows for creative uses, such as enhancing the atmosphere as decoration, as a step-and-repeat in event entryways, or as an interactive touchpoint through engaging content like social media feeds. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each totem stands slightly over six feet tall and can be used individually. Six totems can be connected to form one 1920×1080 canvas, sharing content across multiple displays for perfect synchronization. When suspended or mounted, the totems can be arranged at different heights or orientations to create unique and exciting designs, helping to elevate any event venue. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The strong plexiglass cover protects the surface from damage, making it suitable for various events. The totems connect to Wi-Fi, allowing content to be loaded quickly with just a few clicks, and play-count reporting is available, supplying you with data to share with event stakeholders or sponsors. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
